A McDonald Road woman said her two teenage sons put a video on YouTube of them doing “Na Na” (naenae) dance, which is from a Shanana parody on the Martin Lawrence Show.
On Feb. 8, a group of about 17 kids came into her yard and started yelling and cursing at her and her sons because of the video.
“The group of kids were mad because her sons' video was better than theirs,” the report states. She said the group wanted to fight her sons.
When a deputy saw the group, most of them ran away.
The mother of one of them was contacted while she was at work and said she would take care of her son when she got home.
Suicidal woman claims daughter raped
Deputies were sent to the North Santee community Feb. 9 after a woman called 911 claiming she allowed a man to have sex with her 3-year-old daughter.
When the officers arrived, they saw the woman's wrists were bandaged. She said she had slit her wrists the previous evening.
She then said she had allowed a man she works with to have sex with her daughter.
The woman agreed to go to the hospital. She told the deputy her daughter was upstairs but the toddler was not in the house. It was later learned the girl was at the home of her aunt.
When they arrived at the hospital, the woman started saying her daughter was dead. She also said her daughter was on the way to Florida. She also said her daughter was hidden in a cubby hole at their home.
The deputies made contact with the child's aunt and she took the girl to meet with the officers. She was unharmed. The child was examined by a doctor and it was determined she was fine. The woman's claim of her having sex with a man was unfounded.
Unruly at the Beaver Bar
Deputies were sent to the Beaver Bar in Murrells Inlet Feb. 9 and saw a large crowd gathered near the front door where a woman was reportedly arguing with the owner.
It was learned the 23-year-old Surfside woman had been asked to leave after starting a fight with another customer.
While a deputy was trying to talk to the woman to get her side of the story, she got loud and began using profanity, She was warned to calm down.
When she refused to calm down, she was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Mom assaulted by teen
A Graves Station community woman called 911 Feb. 9 after she was reportedly assaulted by her 14-year-old daughter.
The victim said her daughter was staying with her grandmother and when she went to pick her up the grandmother said the teen had been misbehaving. When she asked her daughter about it, the teen allegedly hit her in the face several times.
She said she suffered a busted lip.
She said she did not want to press charges.
A man from James Drive in Andrews said his home was burglarized Feb. 7. When deputies arrived, they saw the house had been ransacked.
The man, who was out of state, was contacted by phone.
A 60-inch TV was missing from a bedroom.
A woman said she and her boyfriend arrived at their home on Kent Road near Andrews Feb. 6 and saw their neighbor's dog leaving their yard with one of their chickens in its mouth.
They saw their chicken coop in the back yard had been torn open and two hens were dead on the ground.
The neighbors said they would pay for the dead chickens.
Information is subject to change as the investigation proceeds. Individuals arrested and/or charged have not been convicted.
