Dino Capone’s School of Rock invites all young musicians of all skill levels, between the ages of 6 – 18, to audition for the School of Rock’s summer band program on Saturday, Feb. 15.

Auditions are open to the public and will include drums, bass, keyboard, guitar, and vocals.

Guitar auditions 3 to 4 p.m.

Bass guitar auditions 4 to 5 p.m.

Drum auditions 5 to 6 p.m.

Keyboard auditions 6 to 6:30 p.m.

Vocal auditions 6:30p.m.

All auditions will take place at Dino Capone’s School of Rock.

Up to six full rock bands will be formed. All bands and their members will be required to complete a twelve week program that includes two and a half hours of weekly rehearsals, warm-up concerts for family and friends six weeks into the program, and an opportunity to play graduation concerts at the Grand Strand’s best live music venues.

Students who are chosen will be grouped with other students of similar age and skill levels. Band students will learn songs, stage presence, tricks, and choose their own band names for upcoming shows.

Performances will be of popular rock roots with family friendly content.

All interested parties should contact Dino Capone’s School of Rock as soon as possible to ensure a good understanding of the audition process and expectations.
