$1,000 reward for capture of Anderson Brothers Bank robbers

The Georgetown Police Department is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of two men who robbed Anderson Brothers Bank on North Fraser Street.

Georgetown Police Capt. Nelson Brown said it happened at about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. He said two black males walked into the bank, presented a gun and demanded money. He said they were given an undisclosed amount of cash and ran out the door.

The vehicle they were in was a tan Cadillac Deville with possibly a South Carolina tag.

They were last seen driving on Black River River Road.

One of the suspects had a red bandanna over his face is approximately 5'07, medium build, and about 180 lbs.

The second subject had a blue blue bandanna and is about 5'09-6'00 feet tall and medium build. The two subjects were in the bank for 40 seconds.Anyone with any information that may help police find the suspects is urged to call police at 545-4300.
