Prose Press announces a book signing at Clock Tower Books in Georgetown, Feb. 8 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Barry Kelly will be signing his fourth novel, “Run To Freedom,” and talking with interested readers about his experiences. Barry is a Korean War Vet, and a retired CIA officer who was a special assistant to President Reagan during the last two years of his Administration.
About “Run to Freedom”
From a train wreck in Siberia in 1919 to America of the late 1970s. follow the struggle as generations of the Brandon family try to escape the iron curtain of the Soviet Union to find freedom in America. Peter Brandon, the grandson of Lieutenant John Brandon who was trapped in Siberia after the train he was guarding was ambushed by the Red Army, risks everything when he decides to escape to America with his KGB-provided bride.
