Lowcountry Voices to share ‘An Evening of African American Music’

Lowcountry Voices, a multicultural choral group, brings its distinctive style of music to Pawleys Island at 4 p.m. Feb. 16.

The group will perform a concert, An Evening of African American Music, at the Precious Blood of Christ Roman Catholic Church, 1633 Waverly Road.

The choir, founded in 2012 and based in North Charleston, offers a standard choral repertoire with special emphasis on African-American musical tradition.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door, and available at Specialty Physical Therapy, 5276 U.S. 17 Business, in Murrells Inlet, Aunny’s Restaurant, downtown Georgetown and the Cultural Arts Council of Georgetown County.
