Well, things are still very slow out there and the coming freeze this week isnít going to help matters at all.
There is no new offshore report from Georgetown Landing and Marina (843-546-1776).
There are a few other reports of some Blackfin Tuna and Dolphin in deeper water.
Wahoo are always around off the coast. Some of the boats that have gone bottom fishing in the past month or so have brought back some Snapper and Red Triggerfish.
Some Redfish are still biting south of the area towards Charleston, but as far as the greater Grand Strand area things remain very slow. If you want to make the trip south, the fish are mostly schooled up and bite best around tide change.
Surf fishing is almost nonexistent right now.
A few Black Drum are still biting in the creeks and near the jetties and some small fry are showing up at the Garden City pier.
They were also showing up at the jetties, biting on fiddler crabs and shrimp.
Garden City Pier (843-651-9700) is reporting that whiting, small sharks and rays are the only things really turning up right now.
A few Sheepshead are still around the jetties and biting around any kind of artificial structure. They seem to like fiddler crabs or shrimp a lot. A few juvenile Flounder are starting to show up around there too as well as up in the creeks.
Good luck out there!
