Surgeon to discuss stroke prevention and carotid artery disease

Dr. Robert J. Brockman will discuss stroke prevention and carotid artery disease at a free seminar at noon Tuesday, Jan. 28, at Wachesaw Conference Center in Murrells Inlet.

Brockman, a physician with Surgical Specialists of Waccamaw, will talk about symptoms, diagnosis and treatment.

The event will last about an hour and include opportunities for participants to ask questions. Lunch will be served.

His talk is being hosted by Georgetown Hospital System.
