Will it snow next week? That is a question that cannot be answered with certainty at this time.
What is known right now is snow is a possibility along the coast of South Carolina Tuesday night and Wednesday.
A low pressure system is expected to be located off the coast by Tuesday. Just how close to the coast it get s will determine if the area receives no snow, a little snow or a significant amount.
The National Weather Service has been reluctant to put a snow chance in its forecast but other weather forecast companies, such as AccuWeather, do mention snow for the area Tuesday night and Wednesday.
In fact, WeatherUnderground – which can be found at the top of our website – is calling for a 30% chance of snow Tuesday and an 80% chance Wednesday.
While the National Weather Service does not currently have snow in the forecast, its meteorologist say – in the latest forecast discussion – if there is precipitation, it will be in the form of snow.
Bottom line. Stay tuned.
