Brendon Barber begins 5th term on Georgetown City Council

Georgetown City Council member Brendon Barber was sworn into his 5th term of office by Clerk of Court Alma White Thursday night. He was joined by his wife, Pam. I want to thank the citizens of the city, Barber said. New members Carol Jayroe and Ed Kimbrough were sworn in at a public ceremony earlier this month. Mayor Jack Scoville was sworn in privately. After Barber was sworn in, Council member Peggy Wayne was elected Mayor Tempore.
