Ever wondered what it would be like to spend the night at Atalaya? Well, here is your chance. Join Huntington Beach State Park for an evening of amusement and adventure as they hold their Atalaya Sleepover Event on March 29-30.
In addition to camping inside a National Historic Landmark, participants can take part in fun-filled activities such as a scavenger hunt and house tour.
For those needing some downtime, they can also relax beside a cozy campfire with a complimentary Atalaya coffee mug.
A cookout dinner and breakfast are included.
There are a limited number of tents, lanterns, and air mattresses available to borrow if you don’t have your own.

Registration ends March 21 at 5 p.m.
The event is $50 per person, ages 7 and above. Ages 6 and under are free.
If you register before Feb. 28, a discounted rate is given to ages 7 to 15 at $30 per person.
Restrooms and parking are nearby. Event will happen rain or shine.
Located along U.S. 17 in Murrells Inlet, Huntington Beach State Park offers three miles of the most pristine beach on the Grand Strand. The 2,500-acre park’s freshwater lagoon, salt marshes, maritime forest and abundant wildlife are all outstanding examples of the state’s natural coastal environment.
