Julian Adair

Julian ‘Joe’ Adair, age 83, of Darlington, S.C. died Monday, January 6th at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence, S.C.
Mr. Adair was born on June 13, 1930 in Lowell, N.C., a son of the late Julian L. Adair Sr. and the late Hazel Wolfe Adair.
He had a career serving in the military, retiring from the United States Air Force.
Mr. Adair then worked for many years at Georgetown Steel Mill.
He is survived by his wife, Eugenia ‘Jean’ Duncan Adair of Darlington; his daughter, Jan (Tony) Teel of Georgetown; two sons, Brian Adair of California and Timothy (Meg) Adair of Florida; and step-children, Debra Bellamy, Teresa (Liston) Strickland and Donna (Allen) Gainey, all of Darlington; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a brother, Benjamin Adair of Spartanburg.
Belk Funeral Home is assisting the Adair family.
