Georgetown County School Board member Dr. Arthur Lance says he is undecided if he will seek another term after his seat expires later this year.

Lance is one of four school board members with seats that will be on the ballot in November.

“I have not decided if I will run. I am thinking about it,” Lance said.

Lance, former principal of Plantersville Elementary School, was first elected in 2006 and ran unopposed in 2010.

District 7 covers the Plantersville and Browns Ferry areas of the county.

The other board members with expiring seats are District 2 seat holder Pat DeLeone and at-large members Jim Dumm and Johnny Wilson.

Because they are non-partisan elections, filing for the school board does not take place until August.
