Georgetown City firefighters responded to Georgetown Ice Co. at around 2:30 p.m. today. When they arrived there was some smoke coming from a warehouse portion of the property but no flames were seen from the outside. According to Fire Chief Joey Tanner, workers were using torch to cut a pipe when a pile of burlap sacks caught on fire. The blaze was quickly extinguished but it took a while to clear the smoke from the building.
