Carvers Bay heading to the championship game

It's the Bears first trip to the title game since 2008
Carvers Bay took advantage of a blocked punt to grab the early momentum and early 12-0 lead halfway through the first quarter.
After a Bears' drive stalled at the 4-yard-line, Allendale-Fairfax drove 96 yards for their only score of the half.
Carvers Bay drove to Tigers' 8-yard-line as the first half was coming to a close, but turned the ball over on downs.Carvers Bay took the opening kickoff of the second half and kept the ball for 5 minutes before Devin Cuttino scored to extend the lead to 20-8. The Tigers cut the lead to 20-14 with a touchdown late in the third quarter. Another Cuttino touchdown with 1:30 left in the game sealed the Lower State title for the Bears. Carvers Bay will play for the state title Nov. 29 at Benedict College in Columbia. Kickoff is at 3 p.m.
