Firefighters battling house fire in Murrells Inlet

  A house fire at 4478 Richmond Drive off of Wachesaw Road in Murrells Inlet has crews from four different fire departments busy. At 10:30 a.m., firefighters from Midway Fire, Murrells Inlet-Garden City Fire, Georgetown County Fire and Surfside reported they had the fire in the two-story home under control but minutes later reported more heavy flames. When the first firefighters arrived on the scene heavy smoke was reported to be coming from the structure. The fire caused a roof above the garage to collapse, according to reports from the scene. No injuries have been reported,
