Julie Pendarvis Brown, wife of Charlie Brown, died Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at Tidelands Hospice House of Georgetown. Funeral services, conducted by Marion Kosier, were held Thursday, November 14, 2013, at Harleyville Christian Church. Burial, directed by Bryant Funeral Home of St. George, followed at Harleyville Cemetery. Mrs. Brown was born April 9, 1961, in St. George, the daughter of the late James Howard and Eunice Vernell Easterlin Pendarvis. She was a graduate of Harleyville-Ridgeville High School, a plantation manager with Venture Plantation and a former clerk with the USDA Agricultural office in Williamsburg. She was a member of the Harleyville Christian Church. Survivors, in addition to her husband of Salters, are: two sons, Kevin Micah Brown (Mindy) of Branchville; and Ethan Charles Brown (Cayce Rast) of Bowman; two brothers, Tony Pendarvis (Amy) and Kirby Pendarvis (Vera), all of Dorchester; and two sisters, Vickie Johnston (Billy) of Harleyville; and Jan Garten (Cliff) of Summerton. Pallbearers were William Johnston, Cliff Garten, Stacey Axson, Jamie Pendarvis, Jr., Eric Jordan and Billy Johnston. Memorials may be made to Tidelands Hospice and Hospice House at 2591 North Fraser Street, Georgetown, SC 29440.
