Midway Fire and Rescue celebrates Fire Prevention Month with community outreach

Pawleys Island, S.C. — During October, which is Fire Prevention Month, Midway Fire Rescue conducted 108 programs during 22 events and provided more than 50 hours of fire and life safety education to nearly 2,800 residents. Each year Midway visits every school within the district to ensure that residents receive basic fire and life safety lessons tailored for each age level.
