Georgetown County firefighters responded to a house fire on Andrew Drive in Dunbar.
The fire was reported around 1 a.m. today and when crews arrived they saw flames coming through the roof. Because of the size of the fire, help was requested from Williamsburg County. The bulk of the fire was extinguished by 3:30 a.m. but firefighters worked on hot spots for longer. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
