Inshore fishing tournament helps local families in need

The second annual  Prince George Winyah Inshore Tournament will be Oct. 26 at Georgetown Landing Marina. The tournament benefit Prince George Winyah Episcopal Church outreach programs. Cost is $150 per boat through Oct. 18; $170 per boat Oct. 19-25. Proceeds will help area children and their families who are struggling with various issues. There will be a captain's meeting and fish dinner on Oct. 25 at 6 p.m. Fishing begins at 6 a.m. on Oct. 26 and weigh-in begins at 4 p.m.  For more information call the marina at 843-546-1776 or go to www.pgwinshore.com.
