Wreaths across America honors veterans

Georgetown County residents and organizations turned out last Saturday at Francis Marion Park in Georgetown for the second annual Wreaths Across America Ceremony.

Thanks to Colonel Ron Gilbert, Knights of Columbus, American Legion Post 114 and Veterans of Foreign Post 6444.

Thirteen other cities in South Carolina joined over 750 cities throughout our country this year. Korean War veteran and longtime Georgetown resident Richard “Bubber” Ferdon was the guest speaker.
