Murrells Inlet teens charged with business, residential burglaries

The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office says two teenagers arrested this week are responsible for several burglaries that have occurred in the Murrells Inlet area.

Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Carrie Cuthbertson says Nance’s Creek Front Restaurant located at 4883 Highway 17 Business and the Hot Fish Club located at 4999 Highway 17 Business - as well as and two residences located on South First Street - were burglarized in a two week period.

As part of an ongoing investigation conducted by Sheriff’s Investigators, Patricia Elizabeth Blair Hemlepp, 17, of 4999 Highway 17 Business in Murrells Inlet and Brian Scott Perry, 18, of 4999 Blue Heron Circle in Murrells Inlet were arrested.

Hemlepp is charged with one count of Hindering and Obstructing, two counts of Burglary Second Degree, and one count of Grand

Larceny. Perry is charged with two counts of Burglary First Degree, two counts of Burglary Second Degree, and one count of Grand Larceny.
