More than 100 spectators gathered along Kings River Road in Pawleys Island Friday afternoon for the Waccamaw High School Homecoming Parade.
Each class, the school band, sports teams and clubs showed their school spirit.
Homecoming court candidates, the football team and varsity cheerleaders proudly displayed their school colors: Waccamaw red, black and white.
There were also floats that represented each of the three other Waccamaw schools: Waccamaw Elementary, Waccamaw Intermediate and Waccamaw Middle.
The celebration continued into the evening with a barbecue fundraiser in the student parking lot and the Waccamaw High Homecoming football game at 7 p.m.
