Georgetown High’s softball team wrapped up the regular season winning two out of their last three games.
Georgetown got single runs in the first, sixth and seventh innings to beat Waccamaw 3-2 on Tuesday night. It was the Lady Warriors first home loss of the season.
Blakeley Graham went 2-for-2 with a double, a walk and a run; Crystyn Neeley went 1-for-2 with two walks, a run, an RBI and a stolen base; and Megan Strickland went 1-for-4 with a triple and a run.
Taylor Mercer scattered six hits over seven innings while striking out one for the win.
Riley Morris and Leah Bogosian each had two hits for the Lady Warriors.
Melaina Moore, pitching for the first time in two years for Waccamaw, gave up four hits and six walks and struck out five for the loss.
Georgetown also beat Wilson 14-0 on Monday night.
Neeley went 2-for-2 with two walks, thee runs, an RBI and two stolen bases; Blakeley Graham went 2-for-2 with two RBIs and a stolen base; Kellie Howard went 2-for-4 with run and two RBIs; Anna James went 2-for-4 with a run; Taylor Graham went 1-for-2 with a run, an RBI and a stolen base; Strickland went 1-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs; Kelsey Fulton walked twice and scored twice; Madison Cooper walked, scored, had an RBI, a stolen base and a sacrifice; and Mercer walked and scored.
James allowed only one hit and three walks and struck out six in five innings for the win.
