UNITE GLOW service is Saturday at GPHC

  • Friday, February 22, 2013

The Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church will host Unite Glow this Saturday at 7 p.m.
The doors will open at 6 p.m. with a talent showcase that will feature church youth group drama and praise teams.
“The church would like to join churches all over our region to come together for one night,” said Benji Wham, the associate pastor of Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church. “ Unite Georgetown is all about coming together. We are asking everyone to lay aside denominations, race, or whatever else that keeps apart and come together and worship Jesus Christ with one voice.”
Wham said students are the main target of the service/.
“We believe if we can get our middle school and high schools to come together, then everyone else will be on board. Look at the clothing and shoe industry. Their target is not adults, it’s kids. They get it, and now it’s time for the church to do the same.”
“In its previous four services, Unite has seen over 20 churches come together, 73 salvations, and close to 900 people in attendance,” Wham said.
This week’s speaker will be Shea Watts. The musical guests will be Newspring.
