Willie J. Hanna, age 58, of Florence, S.C.
Terrence Levon Nesmith, age 29, of Hemingway, S.C.
Sarah Jean Cobb Chastain, 83, of Greenville, S.C., widow of the late George “Ed” Edwin Chastain, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville.
Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Elbert C. and Ruby Jane Kinsler Cobb.
Mrs. Chastain was the office manager for MD Cleveland Wholesale Company and was the County Secretary for South Carolina Farm Bureau.
She was a member of Westminster Wesleyan Church and church treasurer.
Survivors include her son, George K. Chastain and wife Melissa of Georgetown, S.C.; daughter, Ann Chastain Cobb and husband Les of Greenville; and three grandchildren, Cody Cobb, and George Ethan and Elizabeth Ann Chastain.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Melvin and Milton Cobb.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Oconee Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Michael Hamilton Hatchell, age 69, of Conway, S.C. passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Conway Medical Center.
Mr. Hatchell was born in Florence, S.C., a son of the late Lex and Virginia Fields Hatchell.
He retired from the City of Conway Fire Dept. and Horry County as an EMS dispatcher.
Mr. Hatchell was a Mason, Shriner and an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Jimmy Hatchell.
Surviving are his wife, Madelyn Causey Hatchell of Conway; a son, Heith Hatchell (Kellie) of Conway; four daughters, Cathy Hucks (James) of Myrtle Beach, Delores Dickerson (Larry) of Conway, Sharon McMeekin (Howard) of Pawleys Island, and Karen Rush (Eddie) of Conway; 10 grandchildren, Tripp Hucks (Danielle) of Conway, Briggs Dickerson (Blair) of Myrtle Beach, Hunter Dickerson (Heidi) of Conway, Marley Dickerson of Conway, Jessica Rogers (Bob) of Conway, Wren McMeekin (Kelli) of Conway, Matt Palmer (Suzanne) of Myrtle Beach, and Josh Rush, Reid Hatchell, Reagan Hatchell, all of Conway; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Carl Bartlet Jr. of Columbia, S.C.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Sandra Stevens Poirel and Rev. Roy Kosin officiating.
Burial followed in Hillcrest Cemetery.
The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel.

Mary Virginia Jones, 76, a cherished sister and a beloved mother and grandmother of Georgetown, S.C., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 8, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.
Mrs. Jones was born the daughter of Zacharias Buddy Jones and Mary Elizabeth Jones on October 6, 1936 in Berkeley County.
She leaves behind two daughters, Darlene Jordan and Diane Taylor; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Carmay Walker, Juanita (Joe) Hoctor, Marilyn Lambert, and Linda Faye (JP) Cribb; and two brothers, MacArthor (Sally) Jones and Donald Ray (Cindy) Jones.
She was predeceased by her parents, four children, Earline McElveen, Dorothea Cherry, Loraine Lambert, and Ernie Taylor; three grandchildren, Gary Moore Jr., Jimmy Jordan, and Donald Necaise; four brothers, Bubba Jones, Harold Dean Jones, Robert Lee Jones, and Johnny Dale Jones; and four sisters, Evalena Newton, Betsy Fisher, Rosa Lee Jornov, and Lilly Mae Jones.
A Home Going Celebration will be held at 3 p.m. at the graveside on Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at the Sampit United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The Jones family received family and friends 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening, October 9, 2012 at the Georgetown Chapel.
