Patricia Tindall Moody, 70, of Georgetown, beloved mother and the wife of Douglas Alan Moody, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday morning, May 2, 2013 at her residence.
Mrs. Moody was born the daughter of James Roland Tindall and Reba Weavil Tindall on November 9, 1942.
She was a volunteer with Tidelands Hospice, a Community Care Giver, and an assistant School Teacher for the Georgetown County School District.
She was a member of the All Saints Parish Church, Waccamaw.
She committed her life to acts of selfless giving for her family and gave an unconditional love to earn her the distinguished title — Beloved Mother.
She leaves behind her husband; two sons, Raymond Douglas (Angel Vause) Moody and Roger Alan (Denise) Moody; five grandchildren, Lisa, Adrian, Maggie, Samantha, and Jacob; and a great-grandchild, Evan.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2013 at the All Saints Parish Church, Waccamaw directed by Georgetown Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
The Moody family will receive family and friends immediately following the service in the Acts Building.
Visitation was from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at the Moody residence, 21 Brandy Lane, Georgetown, SC 29440.
