Margaret Cornell

Margaret E. Cornell (nee Carpenter), 84, died Monday, May 6 at York Hospital in York, Maine.
Born in Chester, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Peggy Cornell attended Goldey-Becom College in Wilmington, DE and worked as a secretary for Sun Oil.
Mrs. Cornell is survived by her husband of 64 years, Frederick, of South Berwick, Maine, formerly of Georgetown and Ridgefield, Conn.,  her two sons, Barry of Galveston, TX and Eric (wife Karen) of Danville, NH, daughter, Sherry of South Berwick, ME, sister-in-laws, Dorothy Carpenter, Lois (husband Stan) Carter and Phyllis Mattera, grandchildren, Brian, Jonathan (wife Sarah), Madison and Kaitlyn Cornell and an extensive family of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Cornell was an avid NASCAR enthusiast and loyal fan of Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Her favorite musical artist was Kenny Chesney.
A memorial service will be held later this summer at the Wm. A Carpenter Chapel, Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, Pa.

Bobbie Jo Gore

Bobbie Jo Gore, 42 of Georgetown, died May 9, 2013 at her residence. Bobbie Jo was born on September 3, 1970 in Baltimore, Md.  
She was predeceased by her father, Philip E. Miller Sr.
Surviving are her husband, Danny Gore; son, James P. Gore and daughter, Samantha Jo Garland, both of Georgetown; two brothers, Philip E. Miller Jr. of Georgetown and Travis Alan Miller of York, Pa.; two sisters, Pam Todd of Georgetown and Janell Halsey of Westminster, Md.; mother, Sharon Troup Miller of Georgetown; and a step grandchild, Landon Thomas Gore of Georgetown. She is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Gore Residence, 117 Waxwing Road, Georgetown. Officiating will be Rev. Billy Miles.
The family request memorial donations be made to: Tidelands Hospice, 1139 N Fraser St., Georgetown, SC 29440.
