Lessie Loretta Burgess, age 69, of Hemingway, S.C.
Jannie A. Cooper, age 79, formally Hemingway, S.C.
Jacqueline R. McEnroe, age 91, of Murrells Inlet died Friday, August 23, 2013 at Waccamaw Community Hospital.
Born in Portland, Me., she was a daughter of the late John and Margaret Jarvis.
Mrs. McEnroe graduated from Gorham College in Gorham, Me.
She taught school at The Welsey School in Boston and worked as a director of a USO Center in Washington D.C. She was blessed with 50 years of marriage.
Mrs. McEnroe was preceded in death by her husband, John T. McEnroe and her son, John T. McEnroe Jr.
Survivors include her two daughters, Joan Hodges of Pawleys Island and Jane Housner and her husband Tom of Pawleys Island; granddaughters, Cara Mostafa and Mary Everett; two great-grandchildren; and a dear friend, Joseph Scanlon.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at St. Michael Catholic Church.
