William Brown, age 82, of Hemingway, S.C.
Barbara “Bobbie” Y. Causey, age 80, of Florence, S.C. passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at Carolinas Hospital System in Florence. She had been ill for many years and had lived in the Honorage Nursing Center for the past 10 years. Her illness never dampened her spirit, however. She enjoyed her family and many friends.
Surviving are her niece, Diane Causey Matuse; her great-niece, Christina Reneé Anthony; her nephews, James David Causey III (Maria) and Sam Starr; a sister-in-law, Yvonne Causey Starr (Lloyd); and many cousins.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Elmwood Cemetery Annex in Georgetown. A visitation was held prior to the service at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m.
The family would like to thank the staff at Honorage Nursing Center and Carolinas Hospital System in Florence for their wonderful care for the past 10 years.

Odell Commander Kennedy, 52, of Andrews went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. Kennedy was born the son of Joseph Commander Kennedy and Verdia Mae Taylor Kennedy on August 17, 1960. He attended the Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church. He committed his life to acts of selfless giving and caring for his mother and family; and gave an unconditional love as a beloved son and brother.
He leaves behind: his mother, two brothers, Samuel Joseph (Jane) Kennedy and Mark Leonard (Debbie) Kennedy; a sister, Klata K. (Wayne) Bratcher; and a numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by: his father, and two brothers, Jesse James Kennedy II and Barry Kennedy.
A Going Home Celebration will be 2 PM, Friday, August 16, 2013, at the Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church. Interment will follow in the Lambert Cemetery directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10 AM – 1:30 PM in the church sanctuary.
