Elizabeth McDonald Cleveland, 98, widow of John B. Cleveland, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2013.
Born in Chester, S.C., she was the daughter of the late William Stormant McDonald Jr. and Faye Walsh McDonald.
Mrs. Cleveland was a graduate of Furman University and a member of Christ Church Episcopal.
“Aunt Lib” is survived by four nieces, Virginia C. Walker and husband, Bryan, of Columbia, Elizabeth Livingston of Columbia, S.C., Margaret M. Elliott and husband, Paul, of Georgetown, and Nancy M. Hardee, also of Georgetown; and four nephews, John B. Cleveland II and wife, Julie, of Easley, S.C., James H. Cleveland, III and wife, Jayne, of Greenville, Thomas C. Livingston of New Bern, N.C., and William S. McDonald of Georgetown.
She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Cleveland Family Cemetery located in Marietta.

Rev. John Goins Sr.
Rev. John Edward Goins Sr., 84, husband of Betty Jean Webber Goins, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Medical University of South Carolina Hospital in Charleston, S.C.
Born on February 23, 1929, in Georgetown County, he was a son of the late Fred M. Goins and the late Annie Mitchum Goins.
Rev. Goins was the pastor at Grace Temple Revival Center.
Aside from his love for the Lord, church and family, he enjoyed ministering to people, farming, playing the guitar and singing.
Rev. Goins retired from International Paper Company after 39 years of service.
Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; three children, John E. Goins Jr. (Melanie) of Georgetown, Terry L. Goins of Dallas, Texas and Curtis W. Goins (Rose) of Garden City; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Peggy Goins of Georgetown; one son in law, Paul Winn of Moncks Corner; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two children, Karen Lisa Goins Winn and Douglas Wayne Goins; five brothers, Reuben Goins, Horace Goins, David Goins, Clifton Goins and Fred Goins; and four sisters, Verdie Small, Inez Lambert, Corrine Lambert and Mary Eaddy.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 in the Graham Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Aldon Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Graham Funeral Home.
