Hugh McCall II
Mr. Hugh Gordon McCall II, age 39, of Johnsonville, S.C. passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, October 21, 2012.
Born December 20, 1972, in Florence, S.C., Hugh was the son of Toni Bogue McCall and the late James Hugh McCall.
He was a graduate of Johnsonville High School and was vice president of purchasing for McCall’s, Inc.
He loved the outdoors, going to the mountains, cooking, watching NASCAR and football, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his son, Gordon McCall…”Daddy, I love you and miss you and you will live forever in my heart;” a sister, Connie (Timothy) Baxley; a brother, Butch (Carla) McCall; friend and mother of his son, Beth McCall; nieces, Kimberlyn McCall and Catelyn Grier; nephews, Jameson McCall, Jaiden McCall, Chandler Grier, Chip Ellis, and Madison Ellis; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Hugh was predeceased by a brother, David McCall; his grandparents, Jim and Ludie McCall; aunt, Patricia McCall; and uncle, Tommy McCall.
Graveside services, conducted by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Garden of Devotion Cemetery.

Pearlie Belle (Nelson) Pyatt, 78, of Baltimore, Md. passed Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Northwest Hospital in Baltimore, Md.
Mrs. Pyatt was born on April 12, 1934 in Georgetown, S.C. to the late Joseph and Lavinia Nelson.
Her husband, Matthew James Pyatt, also of Georgetown, S.C. preceded her in death in 2006.
Mrs. Pyatt was a 1952 graduate of Howard High School.
She moved to Baltimore in 1954 and was certified as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the State of Maryland in 1960.
She retired from nursing in 1995.
Mrs. Pyatt is survived by one brother, Andrew Nelson (Verdell) of Georgetown, S.C.; two sons, James Timothy (Vanessa) and Michael Jerome of Baltimore, Md.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Estep Brothers Funeral Home, 1300 Eutaw Place, Baltimore, MD, 21217.
The Wake will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 10 a.m., immediately followed by the Home Going Celebration at 10:30 a.m., at St. James United Methodist Church, 1911 W. Lexington Street, Baltimore, MD.
Mrs. Pyatt will be laid to rest at the Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, 11501 Garrison Forest Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117.
