Two people were killed in a one vehicle accident that occurred early this morning.
The SC Highway Patrol Senior Trooper Bridget Wyant says a 2006 four-door Infinity was being driven on Dunbar Road at about 12:05 a.m. when the car ran off the road, struck a ditch and "overturned several times."
Deputy Coroner Sam Hodge has identified the victims as Teneal Linen, 27, of Easu Court and 19-year-old Tyquan Jones of Mae Place.
Linen, the driver, was airlifted to Grand Strand Hospital and was later pronounced dead. The passenger, Jones, was entrapped and had to be cut from the car and was then taken to the Medical University of South Carolina by helicopter. He was also pronounced dead at the hospital.
The accident is still under investigation.
