Police make arrests in robberies

GEORGETOWN S.C. Five Andrews residents have been charged in connection with a robbery that was reported on Brinkley Street in Maryville last Wednesday, according to Georgetown Police Capt. Nelson Brown.
Those charged are: Natatlie Street, 20, of 402 Rosemary Street; Kyle Codrington, 21, of 310 North Beech St.; John Linnen II, 20, of 709 East Ashland St.; Kenandrey Boyd, 18, of 102 Pope St. and Jamarr Jones, 26 of 80 Country Club Road.
All are charged with two counts of armed robbery.
As reported in the Georgetown Times Friday, the incident occurred while the two victims were standing in the 900 block of Brinkley Street and the suspects pulled up and robbed the victims of their cell phones. At least one of the subjects was armed with a handgun.
There was a second robbery last Wednesday in the City of Georgetown.
A 24-year-old Maryville man said he was robbed by three men while he was at the car wash next to the Kangaroo convenience store.
Jade Tilton, 19, of Johnsonville has been arrested and is charged with armed robbery.
Two juveniles were questioned but have not been charged, Brown said.
