Murrells Inlet man dies from motorcycle accident injuries

A 54-year-old Murrells Inlet man has died from injuries he received in a traffic accident that occurred Sunday.
The man's name has not yet been released and specific details about the accident have not been released by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
We do know the victim was on a motorcycle that crashed in the 600 block of Atlantic Ave. in Garden City. He was at first transported to Waccamaw Community Hospital then to Grand Strand Hospital where he died at 9 p.m. Monday, according to the Highway Patrol website.
We will update this story when we receive more information.
