Men from Pawleys Island and Murrells Inlet arrested for CVS pill theft

Myrtle Beach, SC Two arrests have been made in connection with an armed robbery at a local CVS pharmacy Thursday night.
Captain David Knipes with Myrtle Beach Police said 22-year old Matthew Hellman, of Pawleys Island and 23-year-old Casey Pegram, of Murrells Inlet, are currently in the Myrtle Beach jail. They are awaiting official charges.
The CVS at 82nd Avenue was robbed around 7 p.m. Thursday. Knipes tells News13 a man entered the store gave the pharmacy clerk a note demanding pills.
The suspect walked out with more than 1500 pills, including Xanax and Oxycodone.
Knipes said weapons were found in the suspects' vehicle, and at least one was gun came up as stolen from Georgetown County.
